At Greenwood Park, our elders serve as shepherds under Christ, the Chief Shepherd. We believe Jesus leads His church, and our elders seek His direction through prayer and Scripture while caring for His people.

Their primary focus is the spiritual health of the congregation. They pray for members, encourage and guide believers, help maintain unity, and walk with people through seasons of growth, struggle, and decision. Rather than managing programs or directing daily operations, elders devote themselves to people—listening, counseling, and helping each person take the next step in following Christ.

Our elders partner with ministers and ministry leaders, providing spiritual oversight while staff lead the day-to-day work of ministry. They strive to lead by humility, example, and prayerful dependence on God.
