I'M NEW

Welcome

We’re so glad you are interested in learning more about Greenwood Park! Whether you are new to the area, trying churches for the first time, or looking for a new church home, you are welcome here.

We are a community of imperfect people, loved by a perfect God, striving to be more like Jesus every day. We meet Sunday mornings at 10:00am for our church-wide gatherings. During that time we worship through song, join together in prayer, take communion, and listen to a sermon. Our Bible classes are held from 9:00-9:45am. Classes are available for children, youth, college age, young adults, and adults.

Upon your first visit, please stop by our Welcome Center which is located in the center of our foyer. We’d love to meet you! We invite you to come, just as you are.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

We have no standards or expectations for proper attire during a service. Some of our members wear suits, while some wear more casual outfits like jeans! We want you to wear whatever you are comfortable in.

How long are services?

Sunday service usually lasts an hour and a half.

What will my kids do?

We gladly welcome children into our services. We do understand that children learn differently than adults, therefore we offer specific classes for children during church! After communion, we release children to their classes for the sermon portion of the service. To learn more about what children can be a part of during church click here.

If you have a child under 2 years old, we have a nursery available during the entire duration of the services. We also have a private room for nursing moms.

Where do I sit?

Feel free to sit anywhere! We have seating available on the main level of the auditorium, as well as in the balcony. We have several greeters at our auditorium entrances to help you find a seat if you need assistance.

How big is the Greenwood Park church family?

Greenwood Park is a church of about 300-400 people.

How can I meet with a minister or elder?

If you have a need that requires assistance from an Elder or Minister, you can find their information here or you can call our church office at (270)781-0700.

Is the building handicap accessible?

Handicap accessible ramps are available at the Campbell Lane side entrance under the green stained glass on the front of the building, and in the rear of the building from the Gary Farms Blvd entrance.
